US New EV Sales Share Estimated to Reach 2.35%

While final US EV sales for 2020 are not yet available (there is no official source as in many European countries), I’m estimating that the EV sales share of new vehicles reached 2.35%. My forecast from a few months ago of 345,285 would be an 8% YOY increase an especially impressive during a pandemic year when overall new vehicle sales only reached an estimated 14,665,787.
