US Reaches Nearly 125,000 Public Level 2 and DC Fast Charging Ports

There are 124,602 public Level 2 and DC fast charging ports in the US, according to new analysis of November 30, 2022 data from the Alternative Fuels Data Center (AFDC), by EVAdoption, LLC.

Of these near 125,000 total public charging ports, 98,342 are Level 2 ports and 26,260 are DC fast charger ports. For locations, there are 31,351 Level 2 sites and 5,916 DC fast charging sites. Looking at the ratio of ports to locations, there are an average of 3.1 Level 2 ports to locations and 4.4 DC fast chargers ports to locations.
